Production Line Operative in Halstead, Essex

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Line operative on behalf of our client in Halstead, on a temporary to perm basis.

The successful candidate will be working within a busy production environment, carrying out general production line and food handling duties. This is a non-heavy lifting role, making it suitable for candidates who are comfortable working at a steady pace and following food hygiene and quality control procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Working on a busy production line
• Handling consumable food products
• Carrying out general food handling duties
• Quality checking products throughout the production process
• Ensuring products meet the required quality standards
• Packing and preparing products ready for dispatch
• Keeping the production and work areas clean and tidy
• Following health, safety and food hygiene procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
• Completing any other general production duties as required

Experience:

• Previous production, warehouse, food production or manufacturing experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work at a consistent pace
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working within a production line environment
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Food handling experience would be beneficial

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6am until 2pm.
