Production Manager

Amour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Manager to work for fantastic company based in Havant.

You will take responsibility for the management and leadership of a production team. You will lead, support, challenge, inspire and coach Team Members in delivering the company strategy and production/cellular objectives.

Duties include:

• Oversee the production process, managing assembly/Machining lines, coordinating all production activities and operations across multiple product value streams.
• Resource planning, ensuring that key requirements are in place to meet the agreed forecasts.

• Be accountable for the Team’s outputs whilst maintaining and improving quality standards and proactively implementing actions when required.
• Ensuring that production is cost effective, improving productivity and reducing scrap.
• Work closely with other teams to drive class leading delivery performance.
• Collating and analysing data, putting together production reports for Tiered meeting reviews.
• Utilise CI tools to manage the day-to-day business and make improvements.

Personal requirements:

• Thorough understanding of root cause analysis, problem-solving, and error prevention.
• Experience with Lean methodology.
• Experience with ERP (advantageous).
• Strong people leadership with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with front line leaders and site management across the site.
• A high degree of attention to detail and extremely EHS & quality focused.
• Able to work under pressure and multitask and work in a logical, systematic manner.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience). Plus excellent staff benefits.
