Production Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a fast-growing building products manufacturing business. Growth has created a need for an experienced Production/Factory Manager to take ownership of manufacturing operations. This is a great opportunity to shape how the factory runs as the business scales. You'll be given the autonomy to run the factory, drive production targets, hold quality standards, and lead a team of skilled workers.

Role duties:

• Run daily factory operations to hit production targets while maintaining quality.
• Build and roll out new production procedures that make the best use of people and resources.
• Lead, train and mentor the team to drive productivity and keep morale high.
• Monitor production processes and equipment performance, spotting improvement opportunities before they become issues. Own health and safety compliance across the factory floor.
• Run regular inspections to keep the facility clean and organised.
• Drive Health & Safety standards
• Work closely with logistics, quality assurance and maintenance to keep operations joined up.
• Report on production metrics, workforce performance and inventory levels to senior management.

Experience required:

• Proven experience as a Production or Factory Manager within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate both yourself and the teams..
• Confidence using manufacturing software for scheduling and inventory management.
• Sharp analytical skills, able to identify problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience introducing and monitoring new procedures in the workplace.

This is a fantastic opportunity to run a factory autonomously, reporting back into the Managing Director.
