HOURS: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:30
SALARY: £45,000 - £48,500 plus bonus and benefits
BASE: Site Based; UK Doors Midlands - Tipton

We are delighted to be recruiting a Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team, taking ownership of the people, process, production flow and CI for the production and assembly of our garage doors.
WHAT OUR PRODUCTION MANAGERS DO:
- Lead, motivate and develop a production team of c10-12 people
- Responsibility for production, workflow, efficiency and stock
- Hands-on management (c80% on the shop floor) of output, quality and workflow
- Focus on optimising output and continuous improvement
- Build a positive health, safety and quality culture
- Workflow optimisation and process improvement
- KPI management (output, efficiency, scrap, downtime etc)
- Waste reduction initiatives
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR PRODUCTION MANAGERS:
- Experience of leading and developing a production team
- Strong people management, coaching, and performance management skills
- Experience of production planning, workflow optimisation, and continuous improvement
- Understanding H&S Legislation and compliance
- Experience of visible, hands-on management and leadership
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of production challenges
