  • Lead and manage the shop floor team

  • Coach all team members to be the best they can
  • Monitor and manage performance

  • Ensure all processes and procedures are carried out correctly
  • Structured data and process driven approach
  • Accurate recording of data
  • Identify and quantify opportunities
  • Implement durable solutions
  • Put in place effective or improved processes
  • Demonstrate sustained improvements
  • Deployment of lean/CI tools and techniques
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Implement sustained solutions
  • Ensure all spend is required and none wasted
  • Focus on cost and ensure agreed budgets are beaten

Profile

You will be an experienced Production Manager/Leader, ideally from a Manufacturing background, along with:

  • A change agent, motivated by desire to make things better and aim for operational excellence
  • Resilient, able to operate in environment where correct processes skills, people and ways of working are not yet in place.
  • Customer focused
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, understands the importance of employee engagement

Job Offer

  • £50,000 - £55,000/annum
