Description
- Lead and manage the shop floor team
- Motivate and engage the team

- Coach all team members to be the best they can
- Monitor and manage performance
- Promote a team work approach
- Ensure all processes and procedures are carried out correctly
- Structured data and process driven approach
- Accurate recording of data
- Identify and quantify opportunities
- Implement durable solutions
- Put in place effective or improved processes
- Demonstrate sustained improvements
- Deployment of lean/CI tools and techniques
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Implement sustained solutions
- Ensure all spend is required and none wasted
- Focus on cost and ensure agreed budgets are beaten
Profile
You will be an experienced Production Manager/Leader, ideally from a Manufacturing background, along with:
- A change agent, motivated by desire to make things better and aim for operational excellence
- Resilient, able to operate in environment where correct processes skills, people and ways of working are not yet in place.
- Customer focused
- Excellent interpersonal skills, understands the importance of employee engagement

- Results driven, understands urgency of operations.

Job Offer
- £50,000 - £55,000/annum
