A leading global engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join its Eastleigh/Southampton site in a newly created role, reporting directly to the Director of Production.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on production planning, capacity management and team performance. You'll lead a Production Team Leader and oversee a team of 10-20 skilled employees, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
The Role
- Lead production planning and capacity management
- Manage labour, budgets and production schedules
- Coach and develop production teams
- Drive continuous improvement across the shop floor
- Work closely with Engineering and Procurement
- 5+ years' Production Management experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Manufacturing background (any industry)
- Experience with production planning, capacity and budgets
