Production Manager

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join a manufacturing company based in Andover. This is a permanent, full time position.
Responsibilities as a Production Manager:
- Overseeing manufacturing and production processes
- Creating and execute daily, weekly, monthly production schedules
- Procuring factory production equipment and taking responsibility for its maintenance in liaison with maintenance engineer
- Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
- Maintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itself
- Implementing all the company’s procedures and policies
- Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management
- Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control
- Training and coaching Factory Operatives
- Implementing safety, health, environment and quality requirements
- Chair weekly operations meeting
- Liaise daily with admin team ref delivery issues
Requirements for this position:
- Minimum 5 years Production management experience
- SAP proficient
- Excellent leaderships skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The Production Manager Role:
- £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday – 8am – 2.30pm
- Monthly targeted bonus available
- 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown and an extra day off for your birthday
- Bupa private medical after 6 months probationary period
