Are you a Production Manager who thrives on driving performance, developing teams and scaling manufacturing operations?

Following significant recent investment and ambitious growth plans, Aerolux Ltd is entering an exciting new phase of expansion and is looking to triple in size over the coming years. As part of this growth journey, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations and help build a world-class production function.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day production operations, ensuring quality, delivery, safety and efficiency targets are consistently achieved.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, improve processes and help shape the future structure of the manufacturing operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing production teams to deliver operational excellence.

  • Driving productivity, efficiency and on-time delivery performance.

  • Managing production planning, scheduling and resource allocation.

  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, procedures and customer requirements.

  • Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams.

  • Monitoring KPIs and driving performance improvements.

  • Supporting recruitment, training and succession planning as the business grows.

  • Promoting a positive health & safety culture across the manufacturing environment.

We're looking for a proactive manufacturing leader who enjoys building high-performing teams and delivering results within a fast-paced production environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager role.

  • Strong leadership experience within engineering, aerospace, manufacturing or a similar technical environment.

  • A track record of improving operational performance and manufacturing efficiency.

  • Experience managing production planning and resource requirements.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • The ability to lead teams through periods of growth and change.

Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
