Production Manager

At Pasquill, we are looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Chorley, helping to deliver high-quality roof trusses safely, efficiently and on time for our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead an experienced production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll have a real impact on operational performance, continuous improvement and team development. Working closely with the Site Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining high safety standards and ensuring our customers receive an exceptional service.

This is a full-time, site-based position, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Pasquill is part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland and is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of engineered timber products, supplying roof trusses, floor joists and timber frame solutions to housebuilders, merchants and construction projects across the country. What we're looking for:

• Proven experience leading and motivating teams within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, resource management and driving operational performance.
• A solid understanding of timber frame or roof truss manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and solve problems effectively.
• A proactive leader who is passionate about continuous improvement, quality and health & safety.

What you will be doing:

• Leading the production team to deliver customer orders safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Planning production capacity and coordinating resources to achieve productivity, quality and customer service targets.
• Coaching, developing and supporting team members to build a highly engaged and multi-skilled workforce.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring equipment is maintained and operating effectively.
• Supporting the Site Operations Manager and providing operational leadership during periods of absence.
