Production Manager - Doors, Windows & Curtain Walling Manufacturing

Location: Ellesmere Port
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: 8am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-4pm Friday 

Our client is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead their manufacturing facility in Ellesmere Port.

This is a standalone manufacturing operation, focused on production only, with no installation teams to manage. The successful candidate will oversee a team of approximately 10-12 production operatives, ensuring efficient manufacturing, effective planning, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 10-12 production staff.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
• Organise and manage delivery planning and logistics.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved.
• Drive continuous improvements in productivity and operational efficiency.

About You

• Proven experience as a Production Manager within the doors and windows manufacturing industry is essential.
• Experience manufacturing curtain walling is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• A hands-on approach with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
