Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Location: Stoke-on-Trent Hours: Monday–Friday, Days

A highly reputable and growing manufacturing business in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations across a fast‑paced uPVC and aluminium window and door manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role overseeing people, performance, workflow, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and output across multiple production lines. You’ll lead a skilled team, manage daily targets, and ensure all products meet strict industry standards. You’ll also play a major part in developing processes, improving productivity, and supporting future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop production teams

  • Manage daily production schedules and output targets

  • Ensure quality standards and compliance are consistently met

  • Oversee health & safety across the manufacturing floor

  • Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices

  • Work closely with senior leadership on operational planning

  • Monitor KPIs, performance data, and workflow efficiency

  • Support training, development, and succession planning

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager within manufacturing

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive performance

  • Knowledge of uPVC or aluminium fabrication (desirable)

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

  • A proactive mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
