Production MIG Welder

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled welder with previous production welding and jig experience to work within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out high-volume MIG welding on mild steel components.
• Weld parts accurately using jigs and fixtures to meet production targets.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines.
• Report any quality or equipment issues promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in production MIG welding.
• Experience using welding jigs and fixtures is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.

Desirable

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Fabrication experience (advantageous but not essential).
• Relevant welding qualifications.
