Production Operative

The Docks, Sharpness, Gloucestershire GL13 9UX | £13.00 per hour | Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm | 40 Hours per Week | Temporary with Progression

Due to the location, you must have your own transport.

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established site based at The Docks in Sharpness, near Berkeley.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in groundwork, production, manufacturing, warehouse work, or another physically demanding, hands-on environment.

• Starting rate of £13.00 per hour.
• Monday to Friday working hours, 7am-4pm.
• 40 hours per week.
• Full training and ongoing support.
• Strict health and safety procedures in place.
• Opportunity to be trained to operate forklift trucks and other heavy plant and machinery.

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties.
• Loading machinery with packaging materials.
• Palletising finished goods.
• Maintaining general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

• Previous experience in groundwork or a similar physical role is advantageous.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Willingness to carry out hands-on, manual tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and hardworking approach.
• Own transport due to the location.
