Production Operative

Location: Congleton, CW12 1UW
Job Type: Temporary Ongoing Contract
Pay Rate: £14.89 per hour during training, rising to £15.26 per hour upon successful completion of training
Shifts: Rotating Double Shifts (Monday-Friday)

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring production processes run efficiently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Operate a complete production line or production sequence within a control room environment
• Set up and control production programmes to meet operational requirements
• Monitor production processes and key operating parameters
• Carry out routine and specialised quality checks
• Identify process deviations and take corrective action in line with established procedures
• Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of production results
• Liaise with maintenance teams regarding repairs and equipment performance
• Provide guidance and support to manufacturing colleagues where required
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
• Work on your feet for extended periods during shifts

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
• Experience in a similar production operative role
• Technical or mechanical aptitude
• Experience working with production line machinery

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
