Location: Moira, Swadlincote
Pay Rate: £14.34 per hour

Working Hours
  • Monday to Thursday: 21:45 – 6:00
  • Friday: 19:15 – 02:15
About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Production Operative to join their Aerosols Department on a permanent night shift.

This is a fast-paced production role operating machinery and working on a busy manufacturing line. The working environment can become warm due to the nature of the production process, and the role is physically active, involving standing for long periods and regular manual handling.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career within manufacturing. Previous production or machine operating experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operating production line machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Monitoring machines to ensure products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
  • Packing finished aerosol products ready for dispatch.
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Keeping the production line running smoothly and reporting any issues to the Production Supervisor.
  • Working towards daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Maintaining accurate production records where required.
  • Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised at all times.
  • Following all company procedures, health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Working effectively as part of the production team.
  • Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by the Production Supervisor.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Due to the manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will be required to wear the appropriate PPE at all times, including:
  • Hair net
  • Beard snood (where applicable)
  • Safety glasses
  • Safety boots
  • Any additional PPE provided by the company
