Production Operative in Alfreton, Derbyshire

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client in Alfreton for a reliable and safety-conscious Production Operative to join their busy team. Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up moulds accurately to prepare for concrete production
• Pouring and levelling concrete to ensure high-quality finished products
• Using an abrasive wheel to clean re-usable cast-in components such as steel pins
• Cutting and drilling rubber pads that are fitted into the concrete
• Performing concrete repairs and general finishing duties with attention to detail
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within the production area
• Working to strict health and safety guidelines at all times

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a construction or manufacturing environment is essential
• Confidence using hand tools and power equipment safely
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality standards
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance record
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
