Production Operative

The right person will be flexible and willing to learn multiple duties that consist of assembly, packing, and operating a saw. 

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Using engineering drawings to assemble straight line wipers.
• Will be using a multitude of hand tools in relation to the assembly.
• To follow the company's predefined quality procedures, to ensure a robust product is produced to meet the customer’s expectations every time.
• To follow the companies work to list, must be willing and able to work to tight deadlines with changing priorities
• Operating various types of production machinery: upcut extrusion saw, pillar drills and hydraulic presses.
• Knowledge of reading engineering drawings
• Good timekeeping and communication skills
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Maintaining a clean and effective work area.
• Basic machine maintenance, changing saw blades, changing over of presses.
