Production Operative / CNC Operator in Bath, Somerset

We're recruiting an experienced Production Operative / CNC Operator to join a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing business in Bath.

This is a great opportunity for a CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, Machine Operator or Production Operative with experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Operate CNC machinery to manufacture precision components

• Set and adjust CNC machines where required

• Read and work from engineering drawings

• Use micrometers, verniers and other precision measuring equipment

• Work to tight tolerances and quality standards

• Carry out in-process quality checks

• Report production or quality issues

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

You'll ideally have previous experience in CNC machining, machine operating or precision engineering.

Relevant backgrounds could include:

• CNC Operator / CNC Machinist

• CNC Miller / CNC Turner

• CNC Grinding / Grinding Operative

• Machine Operator

• Production Operative

• Precision Engineering

You should be comfortable working from engineering drawings, using measuring equipment and producing components to tight tolerances.

CNC grinding experience is advantageous but not essential.

• £33,000 - £36,000 salary, depending on experience
