THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a genuine career opportunity, not just a job. We're looking for practical, hands-on people to join a growing composites manufacturing team in Eynsham and the right candidates will be trained and developed into skilled composite technicians over time.

You don't need composites experience. What you do need is good hands, a strong work ethic and the drive to learn properly. The business has a strong track record of taking people with practical backgrounds and investing in their development. Some of their best people started exactly where you are now.

THE ROLE

You'll be working on the production floor supporting an experienced composites team, learning the business and the processes as you go. Over time, with the right attitude and application, you'll develop skills across areas including:

  • Laminating
  • Vacuum bagging
  • Trimming and finishing
  • Bonding and assembly

The pace at which you develop will depend on you, the business is committed to training and progressing the right people into skilled technician roles.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

No composites background needed, but the following tend to produce people who take to this type of work well:

  • Production or manufacturing operative
  • Aircraft or vehicle body technician
  • Boat builder or marine fabricator
  • Joiner, carpenter or cabinet maker
  • Panel beater or automotive repair technician
  • GRP or fibreglass worker
  • General assembly or trade background with strong hand tool skills

What matters most is that you're practical, reliable and genuinely motivated to learn. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in a growing, technically interesting industry, not for someone looking to stand still.

THE SETUP

  • Permanent role
  • Day shifts to start
  • Early and late shifts are likely to be introduced as the business grows, 6:00am–2:30pm and 2:00pm–10:30pm, carrying a 10% shift premium. Applicants need to be comfortable with the possibility of working these patterns when required
  • Full training and development provided
  • Clear progression pathway into skilled composite technician roles
