Production Operative

Our client, a leading manufacturer in St. Helens is looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join their team.

Salary - £25,396.80 per annum

6-month contract initially with an extension to 12 month rolling contract thereafter

This is a varied role where you will work flexibly across different areas of their production operation, including dispatch, lamination, finishing, punching and general production duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Working across different production departments as required.
• Operating production and finishing equipment following training.
• Checking products for quality and accuracy.
• Packing, counting and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Following production schedules, instructions and health & safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Supporting colleagues and meeting production deadlines.

About You

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to learn new skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Previous production, manufacturing, printing, finishing or warehouse experience is desirable but full training will be provided.
