Production Operative

IMMEDIATE START - 4 ON, 4 OFF DAY SHIFT OPPORTUNITY

The role is with a major UK manufacturer and is within a busy industrial production environment, applicants must have experience within a busy industrial production environment and be able to commute to the area to start the shift for 6am.

What's in it for you?

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern - 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Basic rate is £12.71 (Monday to Friday) + 20% shift allowance of £2.54 (£15.25 ph)
• Time and a third (Saturday rate) £16.94
• Time and two thirds (Sunday rate) £21.22
• 11.5 hour shifts
• Initial 12-week temporary contract with potential to go permanent
• Ongoing training and development with a UK industry leader

Role Responsibilities:

• Operating machinery and equipment within a production environment
• Cleaning and preparing moulds and tools used in the process
• Preparing and mixing materials according to production requirements
• Manual handling duties - supported by mechanical lifting aids
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free working environment
• Strictly adhering to site health & safety procedures and reporting issues promptly

What do you require to apply as a Production Operative

• Reliable, proactive, and a good relationship builder in a production setting
• Previous manual or labouring experience desirable
• Own transport preferred due to site location
