The Role

As a Float Operator, you'll provide support across various production departments, ensuring quality, efficiency and safety standards are consistently maintained.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out bonding, cutting and grinding processes
  • Operating test beds and heating lamps
  • Supporting different production departments as business needs require
  • Assisting with machine operation and basic machine set-up
  • Following work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Performing quality checks on raw materials and finished products
  • Recording production information accurately
  • Identifying faults, defects or inconsistencies and reporting them promptly
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Working towards production targets while maintaining quality standards

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment
  • Good IT and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to learn new processes

  • A strong work ethic and reliable attendance record

Desirable Experience

  • Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to technical production processes
  • Experience working to production targets and quality standards
