Production Operative

Gap Personnel is recruiting  Production Operatives to join our client's production team based in Canvey Island / Leigh-on-Sea.

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour
Hours: 12:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Days: Monday to Friday
Type: Temporary – Ongoing
Location: Canvey Island / Leigh-on-Sea

• Picking and preparing goods for production and dispatch.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Cooking products in line with production requirements and schedules.
• Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitoring production processes and reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Cleaning production areas, machinery, and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Following all company health and safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Assisting with general production and warehouse duties as required.

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or food production environment is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake training where required.
• No shellfish allergies.
• Food Hygiene & H&S training required (provided by Gap Personnel).

• Competitive pay rate of £13.00 - £14.50 per hour.
