Production Operative's Southampton (By Southampton Airport)

Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00 (37.5 hours per week)

£13.00 per hour

We have an exciting new opportunity for multiple Production operatives to join a well-established brand specialising within the motorcycle industry including bikes and cars. This is a hands-on Production role, where heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time operating from a production line will be required on a daily basis.

This role is ideal for reliable, hands‑on individuals who are comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment. Full training is provided, and no previous warehouse experience is required, although it is beneficial.

Salary: £13.00 per hour (weekly pay)

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative

  • Conduct visual quality checks on products.
  • Identify and report defective or incorrectly labelled items.
  • Work efficiently on fast‑moving production lines.
  • Support the smooth flow of products through each stage of the process.

Requirements of a Production Operative

  • Physical role: Candidates must be able to carry out manual tasks throughout the shift.
  • Heavy lifting - Some products on the production line require heavier lifting, so you must be comfortable with this.
  • Standing for long periods - The role involves being on your feet for the full duration of the shift.
  • Attention to detail - Production lines run at speed, and candidates must be able to identify defects, leaks, misprints, and any quality issues before items move to the next stage of order collation and packing.
  • Teamwork - Candidates will be expected to work closely alongside colleagues, operating in small, collaborative teams where effective communication, cooperation, and awareness of others are essential.
