12-hour shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) | Up to 4 shifts per week Temporary (8-12 weeks) | Start 29th June
Hales Group are recruiting Production Operatives to join our client's manufacturing site in Beccles, Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates seeking short-term summer work or those seeking temporary work, supporting operations during the busy holiday season.
Successful candidates will be inducted and trained to ensure full readiness to cover planned holiday leave, with opportunities to support additional shifts where required.
You will work within a fast-paced production environment, supporting key operations to maintain quality, efficiency, and safety standards across site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality checks, inspecting and packing products while identifying faults.
- Palletise, label, and record finished goods before transferring to the warehouse.
- Support recycling processes by collecting and sorting scrap materials.
- Work closely with Team Leaders on hygiene, cleaning, and production requirements.
- Handle finished products, moving boxes and trays safely.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Ensure the production area is clean, organised, and audit-ready at all times.
Requirements
- Must have own transport due to location.
- Reliable and able to commit to set weekly shifts.
- Comfortable working 12-hour day or night shifts.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to pick up additional shifts when available.
- Students or individuals seeking short-term summer employment.
