Meridian Business Support is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in the Birkenhead area. We are looking for reliable and hard-working Production Operatives to join a busy team, supporting day-to-day manufacturing and packing activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous factory, manufacturing, assembly or production line experience who are looking for ongoing temporary work with immediate starts available.
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Assembling products and components to required quality standards
- Feeding raw materials into the manufacturing process
- Carrying out product inspections and identifying defects
- Testing finished goods and reporting faults where required
- Packing, labelling and preparing products for dispatch
- Supporting basic machine cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times
The successful Production Operative will work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, safety and attention to detail are essential.
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse or factory environments
- Knowledge of working on production lines or within industrial settings
- The ability to stand for long periods and carry out repetitive manual tasks
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Hours & Shifts
Morning Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am to 12:30pm
- 38.5 hours per week
Afternoon Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 5:00pm to 10:00pm
- 20 hours per week
Pay & Benefits
- £12.71 per hour
