Metalis are currently working with alongside a variety of specialist manufacturers in Sheffield who are on the lookout for experienced Engineering Operative's to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operating workshop machinery

• Using hand and power tools

• Inspect, receive, move, store and pick raw materials, ensuring accurate stock records and full traceability

• FLT & Crane Operations: Safely load and unload vehicles and operate counterbalance forklifts and overhead cranes, including slinging operations

• Carry out metal processing, de-burring, etching, labelling and packing of finished products to customer requirements and high presentation standards

• Follow all company procedures and Health & Safety requirements, including manual handling and risk assessments

• Maintain high 5S/6S standards, complete relevant paperwork accurately and contribute to improvements in efficiency and working practices

About You:

• The ideal candidate will have experience within a warehouse, manufacturing, materials handling or metal processing environment. Experience working with chemicals would be advantageous

• You should be organised, reliable, safety-conscious and able to work both independently and as part of a team

• A valid FLT Counterbalance licence and overhead crane experience would be an advantage

Shifts & Salary:

• Monday - Friday

• Variety of shift patterns on offer, including Days regular & rotating Days & Afternoons

• £13.00ph - £13.25ph

• Sheffield
