Production Operative in Colchester, Essex

Nolan Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Colchester-based client for a Production Operative to join their busy team.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production and warehouse environment, offering full training and opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products in line with production schedules and quality standards.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
• Pick and prepare components required for production orders.
• Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
• Support warehouse operations, including stock handling and order picking.
• Book in deliveries and replenish stock locations using handheld scanners.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Assist with stock control and dispatch checks.
• Provide support across production and warehouse functions as required.

Requirements

Essential

• Previous experience working in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environment.
• Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced setting.
• Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and experience.

Desirable

• Experience using ERP, warehouse management, or stock control systems.
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
