Our client manufactures specialist products supplied to a variety of industries across the UK. They are known for producing high-quality products and are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join their production team.
This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll be involved in different stages of the production process, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
Preparing raw materials ready for production
Mixing and assembling products in line with production instructions
Filling, sealing and packaging finished products
Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
Labelling finished goods ready for dispatch
Keeping production records up to date where required
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised work area
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Supporting other production departments as required
Skills:
Previous production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
