Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing facility in Skelmersdale.

£12.71 per hour
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
Monday to Friday
Immediate Start Available
Soldering Experience/Training Required
Safety Boots & Safety Glasses Required

This role is ideal for someone with previous soldering experience or relevant soldering training who is looking for a full-time, ongoing position within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and build circuit boards to required specifications
• Complete wiring and cable preparation tasks
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and build instructions
• Carry out soldering and assembly work accurately
• Conduct testing and quality checks on completed products
• Identify and report any faults or issues during assembly
• Pack completed products safely and correctly for dispatch
• Ensure all work meets quality and production standards
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Soldering experience or relevant soldering training is essential
• Previous production/manufacturing experience is desirable
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Safety boots and safety glasses must be worn
