Job Title: Production operative

Location: Haydock

Shifts: Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10Pm Monday-Friday and 10pm-6am Sunday-Thurday

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour 

12 week temp to perm contract

·        £12.71/hour for any hours worked.

Shifts

·        Weekly 2 rotating shifts 1st week (6am-2pm Monday-Friday), 2nd Week  (2pm-22pm Monday-Friday) and ocassional nights 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday.

Role & responsibilities:

Packing powder products including hot chocolate, coffee pods, and other dry goods.

• Prepare and blend ingredients according to approved recipes and production schedules.
• Accurately weigh and measure raw materials using calibrated equipment.
• Operate blending, mixing, and processing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor blending times, temperatures, and ingredient consistency to ensure product quality.
• Conduct quality checks and report any deviations from specifications.
• Complete production records, batch sheets, and traceability documentation.
• Clean and sanitize blending equipment and work areas according to cleaning schedules.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Warehouse teams to achieve production targets.
• Follow allergen control procedures and prevent cross-contamination.

The Successful Candidate:

• Experience in food manufacturing or food production environments.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and GMP.
• Ability to follow detailed recipes and production instructions.
• Good numerical skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift and handle raw material bags safely.
