Production Operative

Reliable Recruit are looking to recruit a Production Operative for a long term role at our clients site in Middleton

The work will involve:

• Setting & operating Machines
• Machine Minding
• Manual Production Duties
• Working to drawings and designs
• Measuring and Cutting materials
• Quality Inspection
• Record Production Data
• Packing, Labelling and other Despatch work
• General Housekeeping Duties

The working times and pay are:

• 40 hours per week after breaks
• 06:30-17:00
• Monday to Thursday
• £13.50 p/h initially
• Pay increase after 12 working weeks to £14.50 p/h
• Temp to perm role for suitable candidates

Essential Skills/Experience Needed:

• Manufacturing experience is essential to this role
• Previous experience with Machine Operating and preferably setting
• Quality checking
• Attention to detail
• Need to be able to measure materials accurately, read and write in English and have good numerical skills
• Candidates need to be physically fit for a standing role with some heavy lifting
