Location: Perth
Base Pay: £13.20 per hour
Shift Allowance: 20%
Estimated Hourly Rate Including Shift Allowance: £15.84 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate starts available

Rotating Shift Pattern

• Early Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm
• Back Shift: 1:30pm to 10:00pm

You must be able to work both shifts on a rotating basis.

We're recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing operation in Perth.

With 40 hours per week, a 20% shift allowance and immediate starts available, this is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking people who are ready to become part of an established production team.

You don't necessarily need previous manufacturing experience. What matters most is that you have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Operative, you'll play an important part in keeping the manufacturing process running safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Following operating procedures and work instructions
• Monitoring products throughout the manufacturing process
• Carrying out quality checks and identifying defects or inconsistencies
• Completing basic machine adjustments where required
• Reporting machine faults or breakdowns promptly
• Working towards daily production schedules and targets
• Collecting and preparing materials required for production
• Packaging finished products to the required standards
• Accurately completing production documentation and records
• Supporting stock and inventory activities when required
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workspace
• Following all health and safety procedures and wearing the required PPE
• Working closely with colleagues to achieve team targets
• Supporting other production activities when required

Previous experience within manufacturing, production, warehouse or machine operating environments would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
