Production Operative

Job description:

We are recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in the North East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Assembling products to required quality standards
• Conducting quality checks throughout the production process
• Following work instructions and production schedules
• Packaging and preparing products for dispatch
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the work area
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures
• Supporting colleagues to achieve production targets
• Reporting faults, defects, or production issues to supervisors
• Assisting with continuous improvement activities where required

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
• Flexible approach to shift work and overtime when required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
