Production Operative with FLT

£14.05 per hour | Monday to Friday | Day Shifts | Permanent Opportunity

Are you an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver looking for a long-term opportunity within a successful manufacturing business? We are recruiting for a Production Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established and growing company within its Packing Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with recent Counterbalance FLT experience who is looking to secure a permanent position with a company that values commitment, safety, and teamwork.

Working as part of a busy production and packing team, you will play a key role in ensuring products are packed, stored, and moved safely and efficiently throughout the site. The role combines production duties with regular FLT Counterbalance operation.

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Load and unload pallets from production and storage areas.
• Supply production lines with materials as required.
• Operate packing and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Carry out routine equipment and FLT checks, reporting any defects.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Complete product sampling and quality checks where required.
• Pack, palletise, band, and wrap finished products to specification.
• Transfer finished goods to designated warehouse locations.
• Complete production records and paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Support the wider manufacturing and warehouse teams as required.

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence/certification.
• Recent and proven Counterbalance FLT experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, packing, or warehouse role.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.

• £14.05 per hour
• Monday to Friday working pattern
