Composite Production Operative - Set 2pm - 10pm shift

please note the hours of work are 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday.

Location: Cosham
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: £15.49 per hour

V3 Recruitment is working with a leading manufacturing business seeking a Composite Production Operative to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop a career within a specialist manufacturing environment. No previous composite experience is required as full training will be provided.

The Role

You will play an important part in the production of high-quality carbon fibre components, supporting the smooth flow of work throughout the composites department. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will assist across a variety of production processes while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained at all times.

This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing quality work, and is comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Extract composite components from moulds
Carry out mould and tooling maintenance
Support demoulding and mould preparation activities
Operate sandblasting machinery to prepare components and tooling
Apply release agents as required
Use light hand tools safely and effectively
Complete and maintain production documentation accurately
Follow approved manufacturing processes and work instructions
Report any issues or concerns to Team Leaders, Supervisors, or the Composite Manager
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Adhere to all company health and safety procedures
About You

No previous experience required full training provided
Highly motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Enjoys practical, hands-on work
Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a production environment
Flexible approach to support workflow requirements across the department
Good understanding of the English language
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Able to interact professionally with colleagues at all levels
Working Environment

This is a physically demanding role that involves standing for extended periods, manual handling, and working within a busy production facility. Candidates should be aware that the production floor can be noisy due to manufacturing equipment and may become hot during the summer months.
