12 Hour Shift Pattern (2 Days & 2Nights) 4on4off (7-7)

The Opportunity

Travail Employment Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly successful and established food manufacturing business in Wrexham to recruit a Production Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Operator, you will:

  • Operate, monitor, and optimise production machinery to achieve daily output targets
  • Carry out machine set-ups, adjustments, and changeovers
  • Complete routine cleaning and hygiene activities in line with food safety standards
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specification requirements
  • Handle raw materials and packaging safely and efficiently
  • Support equipment performance through basic autonomous maintenance activities
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation
  • Identify and escalate machinery, quality, or production issues promptly
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production area

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Production Operator, Machine Operator, Manufacturing Operative, or similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Food manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
  • A strong commitment to health & safety and quality standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
  • The ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • A flexible and reliable work ethic
  • Confidence in identifying and resolving production-related issues
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and undertake further training

Suitable Backgrounds:

We welcome applications from candidates with experience as:

Machine Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Production Line Operator, Machine Minder, Process Operator, Food Production Operative, Packaging Operator, or Production Technician.
