Overview:
As a Production planner, you will play a key role in maintaining operational performance and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
What does the role involve?
- Communicate schedule changes clearly and promptly to all relevant departments in the business
- Produce weekly KPI reporting, whilst making lean improvements within the business
- Escalate risks and bottlenecks to achieve the weekly plan, working closely with the production, purchasing and demand planning team
- Lead daily production meetings, reviewing prior day performance and recovery actions
- Execute weekly production plan and release work orders where required
Candidate requirements:
- Degree in Supply chain / engineering or similar
- 3 plus years' experience within a production planning of scheduling position within a manufacturing environment
- Background working ERP/MRP systems (Ideally SAP)
- Strong excel skills as you will be required to analyse and report large data setts
- Good communication and organisational skills
