Your responsibilities as Production & Process Engineer
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults and minimise production downtime.
- Support plant start-up, performance monitoring and shutdown activities.
- Complete maintenance records accurately and ensure parts are correctly logged.
- Identify and implement improvements to equipment and maintenance processes.
- Work safely while maintaining health, safety, hygiene and food quality standards at all times.
What we're looking for in a Production & Process Engineer
- Experience within poultry, meat processing, food manufacturing or FMCG environments (essential).
- Mechanical maintenance experience within food manufacturing or another FMCG environment.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of pneumatics together with an understanding of HACCP, PUWER, LOLER and COSHH.
- Ability to complete planned maintenance and reactive engineering activities accurately.
- Relevant engineering or health and safety qualifications would be advantageous.
Working hours: 48 hours per week, 4 on 4 off, 05:30–17:30 with a one-hour break (30 minutes paid).
