Production Supervisor (Mixing & Process Area)

Production Supervisor – Mixing & Process Area, Monk Bretton Barnsley

Salary: £34,500 per annum

Shifts: Rotating Weekly Shifts | 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of our mixing and production processes on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for leading a team of operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production operatives within the mixing area.
• Manage weighing and mixing processes in line with production requirements.
• Ensure accurate stock control and material usage.
• Complete and maintain all production paperwork and records.
• Monitor process controls and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
• Drive productivity, efficiency and quality standards across the department.
• Identify and resolve production issues and escalate where necessary.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience managing teams and achieving production targets.
• Strong understanding of process control and production documentation.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within food, chemical, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
