Production Team Leader

Dunkeswell, Honiton, Devon | £15.68 per hour (£23.52 per hour overtime after 38 hours) | Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm | Temp to Permanent / Permanent

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for experienced Production Team Leaders to join a successful manufacturing business based in Dunkeswell, near Honiton, Devon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Team Leader looking to develop a long-term career within a well-established manufacturing business. You'll play a key role in leading a production team, driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring production targets are achieved in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Please note: Own transport is essential due to the location.

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Production Operatives to achieve daily production targets.
• Organise workloads and ensure production plans are delivered efficiently.
• Monitor production processes to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Complete production records, paperwork and computer-based systems accurately.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across the production and manufacturing environment.
• Support the training, development and performance of team members.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Act as a positive role model, encouraging teamwork and high performance.

• Previous experience as a Production Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Team Leader, Shift Leader, Senior Operator, Senior Production Operative or similar leadership role.
• Experience within a manufacturing, production, FMCG or food production environment is preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to make confident decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety, quality standards and production processes.
• Own transport is essential due to the location.

• £15.68 per hour.
• £23.52 per hour overtime after 38 hours worked.
• Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm.
• One fixed weekday off every week on a rotating schedule.
• Every weekend off.
