Production Team Leader

Production Team Leader / Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader / Supervisor to join our client's manufacturing team based in Weston-Super-Mare.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll support the day-to-day running of production, manufacturing and warehouse operations. You'll lead by example, coordinate workflow, maintain quality standards, support stock control and help ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day workshop and production activities to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.
• Supervise and support production and warehouse staff, maintaining productivity, quality and a positive team environment.
• Monitor material usage and assist with stock control, inventory management and ordering of materials.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet both company and customer standards.
• Maintain accurate production, stock and operational records.
• Ensure workshop and warehouse areas remain clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.
• Communicate production progress, operational issues and maintenance requirements to management.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and HR teams to support the smooth running of operations.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or assembly environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team.
• Knowledge of production planning, stock control and warehouse operations.
• A good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate others and lead by example.
