Monday - Thursday 12 hour night shifts

As a Production Team Leader, you will oversee night shift operations across your designated department, ensuring output, quality, safety, and labour resources are effectively managed. You will lead a team of operators and setters, maintaining high standards of discipline, performance, and compliance while supporting continuous improvement across the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage your team, maintaining discipline and following company policies.
- Carry out Records of Conversation when needed.
- Ensure all quality checks, paperwork, and procedures are completed correctly.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping, and 6S, reporting issues to the Production Supervisor.
- Work with other Team Leaders to plan labour, arrange cover, and coordinate overtime.
- Identify training needs and support development plans for your team.
- Make sure production targets are met across all machines/work centres and update the Shift Leader on performance.
- Report machine breakdowns and follow up on urgent maintenance.
- Operate machinery when required to support production.
- Oversee tooling, machine trials, product trials, and development activities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or team leadership role.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and Health & Safety.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and maintain discipline.
- Confident in coordinating labour, prioritising workloads, and meeting output targets.
- IT literate with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive, hands on approach with the ability to work effectively on permanent night shifts.
