The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for machine set-up, tool changes, fault finding and quality inspections to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
You'll become a key member of the production team, helping to minimise downtime, maintain quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out machine set-ups and tool changes
- Diagnose and resolve machine faults and production issues
- Raise maintenance requests and report equipment concerns
- Complete routine quality and safety inspections
- Conduct visual and functional product checks
- Perform colour changes in accordance with operating procedures
- Implement corrective actions to resolve quality concerns
- Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently
- Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Engineering, Vehicle Maintenance or a similar discipline
- Experience working within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
- A proactive and hands-on approach to work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
