The Production Technician Role
You will assemble specialist sensors and electronic products from component preparation through to final testing and completion. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assembling sensors and electronic components
* Fine soldering, crimping and cable preparation
* Applying heat shrink, potting compounds and protective coatings
* Using hand tools, test equipment and production machinery
* Following assembly drawings, wiring instructions and work instructions
* Inspecting and testing completed products
* Recording production information and serial numbers
* Packing and labelling finished goods
* Completing quality checks
* Supporting stocktaking and wider production activities
About You
Previous experience within production, manufacturing, electronic assembly or engineering is essential, particularly where this includes soldering or crimping. You do not need experience in every process, as training and cross-training will be provided. You should be:
* Comfortable working with small components
* Accurate and attentive to detail
* Able to follow written and technical instructions
* Keen to learn new practical skills
* Comfortable working independently and within a small team
* Committed to producing high-quality work
* Confident using basic computer systems
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 8.00am to 4.00pm
* Friday: 8.00am to 1.00pm
* 30-minute lunch Monday to Thursday
* 35 hours per week

Location and Transport
The company is based just outside Towcester, approximately four minutes by car from the town centre and ten minutes from Silverstone village. Due to the location and limited public transport, applicants must have their own reliable transport.
