Proejct Engineer

A busy specialist contractor in groundworks, RC Frame and civil engineering is looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join the team on a major Energy from Waste development. 

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the engineering package, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately and to programme. You'll be responsible for overseeing setting out, quality assurance, managing subcontractors, maintaining site records, coordinating technical information and working closely with the operational team to drive the project through to completion.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer within civil engineering, groundworks, RC Frame or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong setting out and surveying experience using modern surveying equipment.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach with a strong commitment to quality, health & safety and programme delivery.
