Leeds / Hybrid Full time – 37 hours per week

Please note that the Combined Authority will consider requests for part-time working and/or job share. We currently have a vacancy for a Programme Coordinator to join our Regeneration Team.
With ambitious goals, the Combined Authority is looking for dedicated Programme Coordinator who are ready to make a real impact as part of our expanding Regeneration Service and help deliver projects that make a real difference to our communities.
As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Housing team, which sits within the wider Regeneration service. Working closely with the Development Manager, Project Managers and delivery partners. You will play a key role in monitoring project progress, tracking performance against agreed milestones, and helping ensure projects remain on schedule and within funding requirements.
With a clear focus on coordinating programme reporting, identifying and escalating risks or issues, maintaining accurate project records, and supporting effective governance processes. You will also be responsible for reviewing and processing payments, ensuring that funding is claimed and distributed in accordance with funding agreements, programme requirements, and organisational procedures.
Previous experience in this area of project management is key, as we are looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in programme or project coordination, monitoring performance, managing data and reporting information to a range of stakeholders. You will have strong administrative and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
Experience of working with funded programmes, financial monitoring, or public sector funding would be advantageous. You will also be confident working collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, supporting the delivery of projects that contribute to the mayor's vision of creating "A Brighter West Yorkshire" that works for all.

The Role
Reporting into the Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
· Working with technical advisors, project sponsors, partner Councils, and internal stakeholders to progress schemes and programme areas, including project monitoring, collation of data and processing of grant claims.
· Developing and updating Programme documentation such as finance tables, trackers, risk registers and reporting progress on schemes and programme areas to internal officer boards and Committees of the Combined Authority.
· Ensuring the timely closedown of projects through the Assurance Framework once projects reach Delivery and Financial close, including collation of lessons learned, allocation of outstanding actions to the Corporate Centre and future benefits realisation.

You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:
· Experience of working in a role within a programme or project environment experience of mitigating risk and problem solving.
· Have an eye for detail with proven experience of assessing complex data to deliver accurate monthly reports.
· Excellent Excel knowledge and to be able to confidently, and professionally, convey complex information (both written and oral) in a clear, concise and persuasive style.
· Strong communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with clarity; to work collaboratively with a wide range of partners and stakeholders and build relationships
