Location: Near Stevenage (5 days onsite)

This is a high-impact Programme Manageer role where you will drive multiple new product development projects & programmes from concept through to market launch.

This Programme Manager role is based onsite five days a week near their Stevenage Manufacturing HQ, working closely with engineering, operations, and commercial teams, with regular exposure to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities of Programme Manager

  • Lead multiple new product development programmes across the full product lifecycle
  • Oversee project planning, governance, risk management, and financial performance
  • Deliver programmes within a structured NPD or stage-gate environment
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and commercial functions
  • Provide clear and consistent programme updates to senior stakeholders
  • Drive process improvement across project delivery, governance, and reporting
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and commercial targets

Requirements for the Programme Manager Role

  • Degree in an Engineeering Discipline
  • Proven experience managing complex programmes or large-scale engineering or NPD projects
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience
  • Ability to influence at all levels without direct authority
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and delivery capability
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and risk
  • Experience with stage-gate, product lifecycle management
