- Pay Rate: £16–£17 per hour PAYE
- Working Pattern: Full-time, 5.5 days per week on site (9-10 hours per day on average - Monday to Friday / 5-6 hours Saturday Morning)

Ceto Talent is hiring on behalf of our client for a Project Secretary to support a major Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture & Storage construction project. This is a long term position on a major UK energy transition project, with scope to continue until 2028.
As Project Secretary, you will provide secretarial and organisational support to a major Carbon Capture & Storage construction project at Liverpool Bay.
You will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Project and Client teams, ensuring an efficient service across a large-scale, long-term energy infrastructure and construction project.
Role Responsibilities:
- Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors.
- Draft incoming and outgoing correspondence, including letters and emails.
- Organise archives and maintain project correspondence and documentation, both paper and electronic, using integrated systems and applications where required.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations and other project documentation using appropriate software.
- Occasionally attend meetings, take notes and prepare meeting reports or minutes.
- Arrange international travel, including complex itineraries, and process associated expenses.
- Check passport and visa requirements and arrange the necessary paperwork.
- Prepare orders for materials required for office and project activities, including stationery and general supplies.
What are we looking for?
Experience: Previous experience working as a Project Secretary, Project Administrator or similar, ideally supporting major construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.
Experience within the Energy, Oil & Gas, Carbon Capture, Engineering or Construction sectors would be advantageous but not essential.
IT Skills: Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Languages: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently communicate across multidisciplinary project teams and within an international working environment.
Candidates must be available 5.5 days per week, with the Saturday morning shift as and when required.
