About the role… 

To support project managers, and wider team, with administrative duties to help ensure all project delivery works are compliant.

 

As a Project Administrator you will…? 

  • Accurately process information
  • Ensure deadlines are met
  • Participate in attaining and maintaining company certification systems
  • Suggest corrective actions to any non-compliance
  • Client interfaces - receive projects from client and raise Ipsum job on database
  • Liaise with project managers to issue for quoting and oversee the purchase order process
  • Assist the project managers in preparing quotations
  • Subcontract liaison and potential raising of purchase orders
  • Preparation, production, and quality checking of work packs
  • Commercial support to the project managers and the commercial department
  • Performance monitoring of the work programme to ensure efficient delivery
  • Reporting of process management data
  • Supporting with customer interactions – planned service interruption carding preparations, customer calls, letters, etc.
  • Producing utility plans (safe digs)
  • Ad-hoc support duties

 

About you… 

  • Previous administrative experience 
  • GCSEs Maths and English
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A desire and personal pride to make improvements.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative.
  • A strong customer focus.
  • An ability to identify where assistance will help colleagues.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
